RIVERS OF LONDON by Ben Aaronovitch
I often come across books from this series in the bookstores I frequent. For this reason, I had very high expectations prior to reading this first book in the seemingly popular and best-selling series.

THE CHAIN by Adrian McKinty
The hype surrounding this book all boils down to a very well written blurb for which I must first congratulate Adrian. It is very captivating and draws you in.

However, readers must be prepared for the uphill trudge that is the first half of this book.

THE WIFE BETWEEN US by Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen
Now I understand why the blurb of this book is so vague and enigmatic – It thrives on mystery and twists. Knowing or guessing just one of the many twists could ruin the whole story. Greer and Sarah expertly weave a web of half-truths which lead readers to interpret the storyline inaccurately.
