Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas!! You know what that means… the countdown to the new year has begun!!!

With so much festive activities going on this month, taking time to simply relax and read has become even more sacred. Why not make the most of that time by checking out these exciting new releases:

Title: The Midnight Girls

First impression: Beautiful book, intriguing plot and badass lead characters! Gimme gimme!

Avery Mason is a TV reporter whose contract is up for renewal. To boost her rating ahead of this, she welcomes a new technology that can identify 9/11 victims DNA on her show. Victoria Ford is the first 9/11 victim to be identified in years due to this new DNA technology. In her last phone call, twenty years ago, she begged her sister to prove her innocence as she was accused of her married lover’s murder.

Twenty years later and Emma Ford, Victoria’s sister, has finally laid her body to rest but has yet to clear Victoria’s name. Emma is convinced that Avery, will be of help in solving this mystery due to her fame and connections. As the investigation goes on, Victoria’s private life throws up a darker mystery that threatens to expose Avery’s secrets and ruin her reputation. What is the real truth behind this murder mystery?
