Despite the slow start, I was blown away by the powerful conclusion ‘The Stone Sky’ gives this series.

‘The Bands of Mourning’ was a delightful return to the fast-paced, light-hearted style that drew me into this series.

‘Shadows of Self’ didn’t quite capture the fast-paced and lighthearted style I loved in the previous book, making it slightly less captivating.

‘The Alloy of Law’ is an impressive pivot from the original Mistborn trilogy, and its light-hearted tone was addictively fun.
