Though the casual writing style and modern references initially seemed simplistic, it quickly grew on me as picturesque descriptions and details brought the action-packed story to life.

THE BLONDE IDENTITY by Ally Carter
Despite being easy to follow, I struggled to find the simplistic writing style captivating. In particular, the details and descriptions provided seemed lacking, especially for the action scenes. GOOD BAD GIRL by Alice Feeney
I completely adored the rich, quotable prose and chapter-ending cliffhangers used in this book. Although I struggled slightly with the constantly shifting points of view (POVs), these are clearly marked and cleverly used to increase the scope and complexity of the story.
