JANUARY 2021 Monthly Spotlight

Happy new year!! New year means new books to help you reach those new year resolutions. Below are some new books coming out this month that we are excited about. Check them out and you might just find a book to kick start your 2021 reading journey.

Genre: Fantasy; Young Adult

First impression: Attention all ‘Hunger Games’ lovers, this one is for us!

Every seven years, nine Greek gods are punished for their past rebellion. Stripped of their immortality, they hunted by humans looking to seize their powers and immortality. Although Lore Perseous left that brutal world years ago, when the goddess Athena offers her the retribution she has been dreaming of for years, Lore is unable to resist the offer. And so the hunt begins!

Title: Before She Disappeared

Author: Lisa Gardner

Genre: Thriller, Mystery

First impression: I wonder if people like Frankie Elkin exist in real life?

Frankie Elkin is a regular person except for the fact that she looks for missing people who the police, public and media have stopped looking for. Her latest case brings her to Mattapan, a rough Boston neighbourhood. Resistance from the local police and the victim’s family tell her that this town might just have something to hide…
