THE EYES OF TAMBURAH by Maria V. Snyder
As someone who has read and loved most of Maria V. Synder’s previous books, I could not help the excitement that buzzed through me before I started reading this book. Of course, I was also a little worried that the story might not live up to my high expectations, and this was what actually happened.

GOOD GIRL, BAD BLOOD by Holly Jackson
Pippa Fitz-Amobi is on the case again in this fantastic sequel! ‘Good girl, bad blood’ begins soon after the events in the previous book. These events are creatively recapped using the various media elements I now associate with this series. Much to my delight, new media elements like the AGGGTM podcast and online articles are even introduced in this book.

The quote on the cover catches the eye immediately, causing intrigue as to what the book is about – at least it did for me. “The baby is dead. It took only a few seconds.”

Jordan Ifueko did not play around with this sequel!
“You don’t get to choose why people love you. But what you do with the love you receive . . . that’s a choice you make every day.”

DIAL A FOR AUNTIES by Jesse Q. Sutanto
‘Dial A for Aunties’ was a light, fun read filled with lots of drama. Between the murder cover-up, rekindling romance and wedding chaos, there was certainly more than enough to keep me entertained!

RAYBEARER by Jordan Ifueko
‘Raybearer’ is a book I knew I would like right after hearing the author’s dedication: “For the kid scanning fairy tales for a hero with a face like theirs. And for the girls whose stories we compressed into pities and wonders, triumphs and cautions, without asking, even once, for their names.”
