‘We Solve Murders’ is a great start to another fun and entertaining series by Richard Osman, and I cannot wait for more!

Despite the slow start, I was blown away by the powerful conclusion ‘The Stone Sky’ gives this series.

‘The Ending Fire’ brings this series to an impressive conclusion with considerable character development and a satisfying ending.

‘The Bands of Mourning’ was a delightful return to the fast-paced, light-hearted style that drew me into this series.

‘Her Name Is Knight’ is an intense thriller that was both heartbreaking and heartwarming, although some aspects fell flat.

‘Shadows of Self’ didn’t quite capture the fast-paced and lighthearted style I loved in the previous book, making it slightly less captivating.

‘The Alloy of Law’ is an impressive pivot from the original Mistborn trilogy, and its light-hearted tone was addictively fun.

With thirty-two speculative stories, ‘Africa Risen’ is a diverse collection that had a mix of hits and misses for me.
